Great morning everyone! Hope all are doing well in this new year! I got in 3 spin classes, some weight training, and some walking this weekend! I also connected with a very interesting web site! http://www.awlr.org/index.html
This is a site run by a med student to get all the information together along with success stories of those who follow a lower carb, higher protein style diet plan. He is posting all of the studies done on this topic so if you are interested, check out this site! I also got into a deep conversation over fat. How much is too much. There is a diet out there that is a high fat, low carb plan that works for some people that I have never heard of so I am going to do some research on it. My old schooling tells me fat is bad but I have learned through Medi-Weightloss Clinics, that fat is not bad. But now I wonder how much should we be looking at including in our daily diet plan and is there a point where we can get to much fat? All I know is that during my 300 pound loss, I averaged between 25 – 35g per day and on occasion it would get into the low 40’s but that was rare. Looking forward to meeting with the teachers of USD 259 tomorrow evening! Hope to see everyone there!
